i and my niece's six year old wait for his school van daily at about 10.30 a.m. we share all kinds thoughts and plans during this time .the new stories he wants to listen ,the place where he went to dine last night with his parents and now he wants to take me also and all other various things .some times we utilize the time by revising the text book lesson .the place where we wait has a green patch of land beside it .as monsoons were not yet fully over the patch displayed varieties of wild grass ,creepers with tiny flowers ,.it really presented a very beautiful picture . watching a new flower or a new type of plant became our new passtime but manu learnt a lot about plant life through these sessions and that too very eagerly .as lot of flowers were there butterflies were bound to come .they came fluttering their wings ,black dotted with orange and purple ,bright yellow ,cream and they added colours to our picture .one day i told manu let us play rhyming words but in a new way .well kids are always a game for anything new .manu was all ears to me .i proposed to say one line and he has to coin the second line ending with a rhyming word .well, the difficult task was on his part but how successfully he accomplished it .... let us see
