1
Tender blades of green
grass
Smiling on hardened rocks
Silky pink petals
Whispering to prickly
thorns
and
That one name
Anchor in life’s
thunderous storms.
7.
What does her eyes see
Earth’s desire
Buried deep
Wriggling to be free.
Cerulean equanimity of
sky,
Simmering enormity of oceans.
What do her hands touch
The helpless invisibility
of air,
The quivering flame of
fire
Trying to stand upright,
The shrinking veins of tree.
What does her body
remember
The satin caressing,
The tingling sensations
Heightened passion
She spread herself
Across the space
Reaching out to beyond.
2.
One
who is unrevealed
one
who is invisible
one
who is impalpable
one
who is achromatic
I invoke Him
And
my call becomes
His name,His image,His
touch,His color.
